Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to our pending Due Date, we decided, reluctantly, to stay home for Thanksgiving this year, rather than being in Idaho with family (though I was fairly sure I'd get through without going into labor, and even if I did start, the 3 hour drive still wouldn't be too long--it just seemed simpler to stay, have the fridge filled with leftovers, the security of being here, and an easier time not packing/unpacking, etc.).

We missed being with everyone up in Rexburg, but made the most of things here, inviting a family in the ward (well, we invited lots, actually, but just the one came), and making pinecone turkeys as place card holders (thanks Emily and Maddie, w/ a little help from the youngers).

It turned out to be a delightful day! So relaxing, after all of the roll/pie days of prep, especially with so much more help in the kitchen! Brian and Brent had fun playing in our ward Turkey Bowl that morning (though it about did Brian in the rest of the day!), and the weather was nice enough for the children to enjoy playing outside here and there between dinner and pie :).  We have MUCH to be grateful for, and enjoyed a day to focus on those blessings!!
