The kids all slept together downstairs Christmas Eve, so that we can get a shot like this:
We got a new SLR camera with part of Mom's inheritance, a PVC fort kit Brian and Brent had made, ipods for Brent and Maddie, kendamas, roller blades, Frozen dolls, Wits and Wagers, Sleeping Queens, clothes, and more. AND it snowed!--so I took the kids sledding that afternoon while Brian and Jane slept at home. Cozy, happy, and wonderful. We grilled hamburgers (outside!) that night just for fun, played games, and just loved soaking up the worry-free time together.

The snow was slow enough that we could all pretend to snowboard down, standing on our sleds--even me!
